School-Age Program: Owls

Forge Early Learning Center offers before- and after-school care for children in kindergarten through fifth grade. Our school-age program is housed in the Owl Room on the upper level of our building—a spacious, engaging environment designed to support both academic success and creative exploration.  The room features dedicated areas for homework, art, dramatic play, science activities, and large-motor development, along with access to outdoor play.

For our school-age students, academic support is a top priority. Afternoons begin with a well-earned break for snack and social time. Afterward, teachers meet individually with students to review their assignments and create a plan for completing their work. We provide personalized guidance and tutoring as needed, ensuring children receive the support they need to succeed. When you arrive for pick-up, homework is complete and your child feels confident, accomplished, and ready to enjoy the rest of the evening at home. Older students also have opportunities for supervised indoor and outdoor free play, fostering independence, friendships, and balance after a full school day.
